Counter-Strike: Global Offensive CS:GO ESL One and ESL Pro League will be exclusively streamed on Facebook. The tournaments will be broadcasted on Facebook Watch video-streaming service. Fans of the game were not excited about the news, fearing that they would need to sign up for Facebook to watch the game, but according to ESL, no account is required. However, it gives certain advantages, such as connecting friends in one conference. A big bonus is that streams could be watched even using the VR-headset.

ESL explained why Facebook. It's not just about 2 billion users every month, but also because of high quality of the broadcast, which the social network can provide since recently. Facebook now supports 1080p 60FPS videos.

Tournaments will be available on Facebook and on the organizers’ sites.
