Ubisoft is accused of artificial decrease in graphics quality

22 January 2016 Ubisoft is accused of artificial decrease in graphics quality

Developer of highly expected MMO The Division, French company Ubisoft was accused of substantial decrease in graphics quality.

In support of this statement gaming virtual community brought screenshots, which Ubisoft presented at E3 in 2014, and compared them to modern graphics. It can be seen with the naked eye that the quality of images in the last versions of the game is substantially lower than in the game presented in 2014.

Opinions of players have divided. Some of them think that graphics quality got worse in the process of game development as a result of optimization of system requirements. Other players accuse Ubisoft of retouching overuse and intentional deception of users.

It should be noted that it isn’t the first scandal of its kind. At different times this developer was accused of decrease in graphics quality in such games as Assassin's Creed, Watch_Dogs and Splinter Cell.

It should be said that MMO The Division is a combination of TPS and RPG. Player, acting as secret agent of undercover organization “Division”, will have to survive in New York, devastated after epidemic. It can be played with friends as well as by a single player. Release of the game is scheduled for 8 March 2016.
