Founders of Tom Clancy's The Division 2 present new content
Massive Entertainment and Ubisoft engaged in the development of Tom Clancy's The Division 2 have shared information about game content. According to their teaser, updates will consist of three parts.
In particular, Season Pass owners can expect a seven-day early access to eight new tasks and three new specializations. Besides, the update will add special rewards for gamers. The open beta stage is scheduled for March 1-4, while Tom Clancy's The Division 2 will be officially launched for PCs, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on March 15.
Streamer Shroud describes Overwatch League meta as damned
A well-known streamer, Michael ‘Shroud’ Grzesiek has well and truly beaten a meta of the Overwatch League current season – GOATS. He believes that matches are less spectacular and boring. Shroud shared his thoughts with the audience in his recent streaming. He described developers’ meta as foolish, although mentioning the great potential of the game.
GOATS meta implies a team’s special strategy with three tanks and three supports. It was invented by the Overwatch Contenders team, but many fans disliked the meta, identifying it as unexciting and overlong. Some gamers even complaint at those being indirectly involved in game development, for instance, voice actors.
Natus Vincere to open Rainbow Six Siege division
An eSports organization, Natus Vincere, has signed the Rainbow Six: Siege German team – Mock-it Esports. One is promising to announce names included in the final list of the roaster prior to the closing of transfer window to be held on March 3. Mock-it Esports defined the Rainbow Six Siege squad last September. The team won Coupe de France 2018 and occupied the 9-12th line of Six Invitational 2019.
Johnny Cage to return to Mortal Kombat 11
Mortal Kombat 11, which will be available for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on April 23, will supplement the list of its characters. NetherRealm, a game development studio, has announced the return of fighter from the first part – Johnny Cage. In the trailer, the legendary character jokes a lot, pranks his opponent, and shows his incredible Fatal Blow and Fatality.
Analysts from New Zealand predicts disappearance of piracy
Specialists from New Zealand-based Vocus Group NZ believe that gaming piracy has jumped the shark. They concluded this after examining the country’s market in detail and investigating the ways of combating illegal content copying. Their analysis is primarily dedicated to movies and music, but it also covers video games.
Only 11% 11% of one thousand respondents still use illegal streaming platforms, and 10% of them download content illegally posted on the Web. The rest respondents utilize official platforms allowing to buy content cheaply and promptly.
Meet PlayStation Plus free games of March
Sony has introduced the March selection of PlayStation Plus free games, including a military shooter game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered and an arcade The Witness. Call of Duty is a remastered version of the legendary game with an upgraded, improved graphics for modern consoles. The Witness is a first-person puzzle developed by the master of arcades – Jonathan Blow. Both free games will be accessible to gamers from March 5.
