Hackers cracked Denuvo in Metro: Exodus within 5 days
CPY team of hackers cracked Denuvo in the new Metro: Exodus game. It took them 5 days to bypass the protection technology in the new game. It is supposed that the shooter is protected with the version 5.5, i.e. the same version that protects Resident Evil 2 – it took the same amount of time to crack its protection.
Metro: Exodus was released on February 15; the game is available on PS4, Xbox One, and РС. For now, there is no information as to whether Denuvo will be removed from Metro: Exodus due to the successful hacking attack.
Release of Eternity: The Last Unicorn expected in March
Eternity: The Last Unicorn for РС and PS4 will be released on March 5, 2019. Besides, the game will be available for Xbox One later. It was announced by developers and publishers of the action role-playing game – Void studio and 1C Entertainment.
The storyline is based on Scandinavian myths and narrates about adventures of legendary characters. The main character is Aurehen that has to save the unicorn and release elves from the curse. The second playable character is Bior. Gamers will have 12 play hours and a possibility to play through Eternity: The Last Unicorn in the survival mode.
Streamer will spend 7 days in virtual reality
Streamer Jak Wilmot believes that in 10 years VR glasses will become as mainstream as smartphones. He decided to speed up the future and to spend 7 days in virtual reality streaming the process on YouTube and Twitch. Jak Wilmot has several pairs of VR glasses intended for different activities such as sleeping, sport, hygiene.
The streamer spends up to half a minute to change glasses. Currently, you can find online videos and Tweets telling how Jak Wilmot spent his first 12 hours in virtual reality. You can follow the events on the 1Weekinvr site and YouTube.
Captain Marvel was highly appraised by critics
After the preview of Captain Marvel for mass media reps, many journalists wrote feedbacks about the film on their social media pages. Most of critics assess the film as a high-end and impressive work. In their Tweets, press reps note that the film will impress fans of comics and will differ from other Marvel films.
Critics are satisfied with acting, plot twists, and dynamics. “Brie Larson is awesome, and makes a fantastic first step into the MCU,” journalist Eric Eisenberg tweeted. Mass media reps also highly appraised the acting of Ben Mendelsohn that played the role of Talos, the leader of Skrulls.
A patch that improves game stability was released for Apex Legends
Respawn presented the second patch for its new shooter Apex Legends. Updates came out on February 19 and help to stabilize the game, which sometimes crashed previously. For example, when graphics processor of PS4 was not responding, the game closed itself. This problem was solved. On Xbox, problems were connected to the use of Gibraltar's epic skins. The second patch also eliminated these bugs.
Besides, players complained of cheaters, the number of which is growing together with the total number of users. Studio representatives noted that it was truly necessary to resolve the situation.
